Princeton Review cites USC as a ‘Best Value’

2/7/12- USC was cited for awarding more than 1,000 need-based and merit-based scholarships for entering freshmen each year, its respected academic programs, including business, journalism, nursing, chemistry and hospitality management, and its Honors College, which offers undergraduates a small, liberal arts college experience on USC’s campus.

Get ready to work: Employers filling up job fair

1/30/12- As of Jan. 26, 121 employers had registered for the university’s Career Fest and the Science, Engineering and Technology Fair scheduled for Feb. 1. That’s up from 100 employers who were registered at the same point last year.

Go Green! USC students make rooms eco-friendly

1/19/12- “Many people might not know that South Carolina is actually one of the top 10 states for square footage of green buildings per capita. A lot of that comes from what USC and other universities are doing,” Bounds said. “This conference is a chance to show off the Green Quad plus a lot of the other great things we are working on here – like the EcoReps program.”
