The Department of Student Life has earmarked funds for UNIV 101 classes to support the advancement of course outcomes through beyond-the-classroom engagement, learning, and community development. Instructors will be able to select from a 'menu' of pre-determined events and activities for use of these funds.
Funding of up to $10 per student (including peer/graduate leader and the instructor of record) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Funding for activities that exceed this limit or that are outside of the suggested activities will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Instructors are encouraged to work together to plan/organize joint activities to foster engagement among classes.
