CarolinaLIFE™ Program welcomes you to the University of South Carolina! This is a new, innovative two-to-four-year post-secondary program for students with intellectual or cognitive disabilities. We offer students with intellectual or cognitive disabilities the opportunity to experience college life through inclusive participation in academic, social, vocational and independent living activities. Our program is based on the needs, interests, and preferences of our students.
Mission
The mission of CarolinaLIFE™ Program is to facilitate high achievement of diverse learners in the areas of personal independence, self-sufficiency, and empowerment through inclusive teaching, research, creative activity, and services.
Financial Aid
CarolinaLIFE™ at the University of South Carolina is one the nation's first Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Programs. Our students are NOW ELIGIBLE to participate in the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study (FWS), and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG) programs.
