
Carolina Community Coalition
The Carolina Community Coalition is a campus and community-wide effort to monitor high-risk behaviors and develop strategies to help students make healthy decisions concerning alcohol, drugs, violence and other safety issues.
- Monitors student behavior using campus and community reporting data.
- Develops and implements strategies to create a healthy student environment.
- Issues ongoing reports as needed regarding student behavior containing action items for campus and community agencies.
- Coordinates collection and distribution of research.
- Maintains coordination and communication among all campus and community services addressing high-risk behavior.
How To Get Involved
The Coalition meets the first Thursday of each month at 4:00pm in the Russell House University Union (this location is subject to change). The Russell House is located at 1400 Greene Street in downtown Columbia on USC's campus. Committees meet each month and make a report on their efforts at each full Coalition meeting.
