South Carolina Campus Compact VISTAs

South Carolina Campus Compact sponsors AmeriCorps*VISTAs (Volunteers in Service to America) on member campuses throughout the state. SCCC VISTAs respond to the needs in the community surrounding the college or university in which they serve and mobilize student volunteers to make an impact both on campus and in the community.The University of South Carolina proudly hosts two full-time South Carolina Campus Compact AmeriCorps*VISTAs in Community Service Programs, the Office of Student Engagement, and the South Carolina Honors College.

Summer Associate Interns

Community Service Programs and the Office for Student Engagement (Service-Learning) are hostingĀ 5 Summer Associate AmeriCorps VISTA positions. These positions are full-time volunteer opportunities where students are placed at a non-profit in order to not only gain experience but also promote collaborative efforts across non-profits, communities and institutions.
