Come volunteer with Community Service Programs at Belser Arboretum. Their specialty is a the restoration of 10 plant communities (biomes) representing selected habitats in South Carolina's temperate rain forest. We will work on the Eastern Prairie biome, removing the drifted leaves and pine straw from the mature plants, to clear the ground for receiving fresh seed. Then we will harvesting the long seed plumes with shears and sow the harvested seeds, which should start to germinate in early March.

North Main Branch County Library is hosting a family storytime night. One of their major goals is outreach to targeted communities and helping ensure that children are ready to read by kindergarten. The volunteers will help to greet the families, get them seated, serve pizza/snacks and help Laura, the Outreach Librarian.

We'll be volunteering at Pet's Inc taking care of dogs and cats without homes.  We'll walk dogs, clean cages, but mostly play with the animals to make them feel loved!

The River Alliance is a not-for-profit, public private partnership planning for the Lower Saluda, Broad and Congaree Rivers in the Columbia area. Volunteers will be cleaning up a newly renovated park at the local zoo, so make sure you come dress appropriately. Closed toed shoes are a must.

Family Connection is hosting a conference called 'Hopes and Dreams' for parents of children with special needs. Join us in caring for their children so that parents can get a break and participate in this incredible conference.
