Multicultural Organizations

Undergraduate students who wish to join a or Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) organization must meet specific membership qualifications. These standards include, but are not limited to, academic achievement (2.5-3.0 GPA depending on the organization), community service, and good character. Any interested student is required to have a minimum of 12 credit hours before participating in the intake process, and students who are on disciplinary probation may not participate. Such requirements are designed to promote the advancement of strong and effective chapters. Each organization implements its own unique membership intake process.

To learn more about MGC organizations, students are highly encouraged to attend the Membership Intake Orientation meeting co-hosted by NPHC and MGC. Membership Intake Orientation is generally held in the beginning of both fall and spring semesters. Additionally, interested candidates are expected to research each individual organization and chapter, as well as attend various events hosted by MGC organizations on campus.
