Gamma Sigma Alpha Application
The Office of Greek Life is currently accepting applications for Gamma Sigma Alpha, a National Greek Academic Honor society, for Spring 2008. This is an outstanding time to recognize and promote our Greek members’ academic success here at Carolina. This society strives to uphold the high ideals of academic achievement.
Students are eligible for membership based on grade point average (GPA) and active membership in a Greek fraternity or sorority recognized by their host university.
The society strives to uphold the high ideals of scholastic achievement, and therefore, only students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) of junior or senior status, or a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in any semester during their junior or senior year, are eligible.
There is a one-time membership fee of $30.00. Turn in checks or cash at The Office of Greek Life Russell House University Union – 115 West Wing
Inducted members will receive a pin and certificate at the induction ceremony that will be announced in the acceptance email. The induction ceremony will welcome you as a new member of this prestigious organization, as well as introduce you to current members.
