PRESS RELEASE
Alpha Chi Omega
to host IMPACT
On November 17th the
Theta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the
University
of South Carolina
will participate in IMPACT alpha chi omega, a values-based
leadership program sponsored by the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.
IMPACT alpha chi omega is a chapter retreat
designed to bring an entire chapter together to plan positive
change for the chapter.
The curriculum of IMPACT alpha chi omega focuses on
values as the basis for behavior and examines the elements of
building a healthy community that benefits all members.
All sessions offer hands-on experiential activities and
discussion.
Past IMPACT alpha chi omega participants have
said the following about the program:
“This curriculum applies to more
than sorority— values-based leadership is so needed in the
workplace, in local communities and in families. Yeah to Alpha
Chi Omega for challenging women to change their worlds!”
“As a new member, I
didn’t know I was that significant. Now I know I can make
changes and improvements. I can’t wait”
“This was excellent! Really
helped our chapter make differences! Helped us see that there is
always room for improvement.”
“I
loved how we actually ended with a concrete plan of action and
not just ideas”
IMPACT alpha chi omega is funded by the Alpha
Chi Omega Foundation.

Sigma
Phi Epsilon Fraternity
South Carolina Alpha Chapter
This fall, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon will be teaming up with
the women of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of South Carolina
to raise funds and other non-perishable items for the Hannah
House, a charity dedicated to helping homeless women get back on
their feet. Many of the women have children, and were plagued
with abuse and addiction before coming to Hannah House.
Established in 1979, Hannah House has helped numerous women
through a three step program to enrich the lives of the women
and their families. Hannah House is committed to the success
their residents. It is their achievements in maintaining
sobriety, building strong families, finding and retaining
employment, and moving into independent housing that constitutes
the success of Hannah House, a goal which Sigma Phi Epsilon and
Alpha Delta Pi are incredibly excited to facilitate in any way
possible. The most needed items aside from monetary donations
are 33 gallon trash bags, toiletries, paper products, medicine
(Ibuprofen, Cold/Flu), etc. If anyone would like to make a
donation, please visit the SigEp or ADPi houses in the Greek
Village. For more information contact
