USC Academic Calendars
Check in with International Programs for Students shortly
after your arrival. A schedule of check-in dates and times is
included with your I-20.
Arrival Assistance:
Columbia Council for Internationals (CCFI) is a non-profit,
volunteer organization of people who provide hospitality and
special programs for international students and scholars in the
Columbia community. CCFI provides arrival assistance by meeting
new students at the Columbia airport.
An application
for arrival assistance is available online.
If
you would like a CCFI volunteer to meet you at the Columbia
Metropolitan Airport, please complete and submit the application
at least ten days before your arrival. If you change your flight
schedule, please FAX your new itinerary to CCFI at (803)
777-0462. Arrival assistance is not available from Charlotte or
Atlanta. Temporary housing at the Bates House (an on-campus
residence hall) is available the week before campus residence
halls officially open for the fall semester. If you are arriving
at USC for any other semester, you may make arrangements with a
local hotel:
