Leadership Programs is here to help Carolina students through all stages of their leadership development. We do so through utilizing the Leadership Identity Development Model.

When you arrive at Carolina, you begin your journey in leadership development. You are EMERGING through being a part of programs designed to help your learn more about yourself, connect you with student leader mentors, and get you started off in the right direction with leadership. You then continue your leadership development through EXPLORING student organizations and involvement opportunities that USC has to offer. Soon you are EXPERIENCING as you find the groups that fit you best, you work with others towards a goal, and you run for an officer/committee position. As graduation approaches, you are ENRICHING others and your organizations by being able to see leadership as a shared process, developing younger leaders in your organizations and mentoring them, and seeing the big picture of how your organization can work with other organizations to collaborate towards a shared purpose.
