- Celebration of Excellence (Honors Night)
This program is held each spring to recognize students of
color who have excelled academically, in leadership roles, or in
campus and community service areas.
- African American Male Institute
The African American Male Institute seeks to motivate and
empower African American males to assume roles of leadership and
expose participants to proven strategies for creating greater
professional and personal success by promoting academic
excellence through mentorship, workshops/seminars, and focus
groups.
- Minority Student Welcome
An annual welcome for all incoming freshmen students of
color, Minority Welcome gives these students the opportunity to
meet one another, to meet the leaders of multicultural student
organizations, and to interact with members of the faculty and
administration.
- Minority Assistant Peer Team (M.A.P.P.)
Designed to assist freshmen of color in their transition
to USC by providing them with a trained peer counselor for their
critical first semester, the program works diligently to establish
positive networks for the student's matriculation--academically,
socially, and culturally.
