 Carolina Parents,
We hope that you are enjoying the summer and that there are many opportunities to spend quality time with your USC student!  Whether your student is taking summer school classes, working part-time or full-time, traveling abroad, or simply enjoying a break from academics, we know that the summer is a much anticipated break for all.

The Office of Parents Programs is busy with summer orientation, and we welcome any new parents to the listserv.  Plans are fully underway for freshman move-in day, as well as Parents Weekend 2007.  Please continue to check the parents Web site for updated information: www.sa.sc.edu/parents

All parents of undergraduate students should have received a postcard recently that announces the dates of Parents Weekend (October 19-21).  In the coming weeks, registration information will be distributed via this listserv, as well as being posted to our web site. 

Attached is the June e-newsletter with information about campus safety, a summer reading list and tips on how to create a budget with your student.

Finally, another attachment provides information about a June graduation fair.  If you have a student completing their degree this summer, encourage them to visit and learn about applying for graduation, ordering their cap and gown, announcements, class rings and much more.
