Students who requested a season football ticket should have received an email with notification about their status.
For students who didn’t get a season football ticket, they still have the opportunity to get football tickets for each home football game. During the week of each home game, students who got the season ticket have to load their ticket onto their CarolinaCard by Thursday at 5 p.m. Any tickets from students not going to the game or who didn’t load their ticket get added to the Student Ticket Exchange web page for any other student to claim and load. The tickets are added to the website shortly after the Thursday at 5 p.m. deadline. Students then claim and load a ticket onto their CarolinaCard. Also, from Thursday at 5 p.m. until Saturday, any student who did load their ticket but decides that they aren’t going to the game has to return their ticket because if they have a ticket and do not show up for the game, they lose their tickets for the rest of the season. The purpose of this is to get the tickets into the hands of the students who really want to go to the games.
Students will tell you that if you have patience and a little persistence, you can get a ticket to the game. Last fall, all students who wanted tickets to games were able to get them for all of the games except Auburn. For the last five years of Parents Weekend, every student who has wanted a ticket has gotten one.
This is the first season we have issued student tickets as a season package of tickets, but in the past, students have always had to request their ticket each week of the game, so they wouldn’t know if they got a ticket until the middle of the week. Using the Student Ticket Exchange is the best option to access a ticket for the Parents Weekend football game against Missouri if your student didn't get a season ticket.
For students who did receive a season ticket
Please note: Students must meet eligibility requirements to retain their season tickets. Eligibility is based on standing as a student and fee payment. In order for students to retain their season ticket and/or have access to the Student Ticket Exchange web page, they MUST pay their tuition and fees by Friday, Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. (In addition, classes will be dropped if a student does not pay tuition and fees by the deadline.)
