What is the purpose of the Professional Development Program?
The University of South Carolina Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support’s Professional Development Program provides targeted opportunities for professional growth. Comprehensive programs address staff needs, campus concerns and national trends and issues. Programs include division meetings, an in-house conference, orientation seminars for new professionals and graduate students, and a recognition program. A committee of individuals from throughout the division serve on the Professional Development Team to plan each year’s professional development offerings.
