ideaPOP! Session Proposals
As student affairs professionals, one of our roles is helping students build hope and resiliency. It is equally relevant in our own careers. Central to the meaning of hope, is the concept of looking forward with reasonable confidence. Building hope is about having a “growth mindset” versus a “fixed mindset.” The movement toward a growth mindset involves a critical examination of an individual’s goals and desires. Resiliency is equally important. Individuals who focus on their growth and development in these areas are able to build hope in their personal and professional lives as well as the students they serve. Please consider submitting a session proposal for the conference.
