Professional Development Team Participation
Members of the PD Team commit to serve two-year terms; membership requires a 3-6 hour commitment per month. Each member of the PD Team serves on one of the following subcommittees:
- Division Meetings & Recognition
- ideaPOP!, Graduate Assistant Orientation & New Employee Orientation
- Event Logistics & Assessment
Selection of Professional Development Team Members
- New members will be selected annually from a pool of nominated candidates who have confirmed their interest in serving on the PD Team. Care is taken to assemble a diverse group of members representing various departments in the Division.
- Candidates can be nominated by another staff member, or may self nominate.
- Nominations may be submitted year round through the end of March.
- Candidates will be selected and notified throughout the month of April each year.
- New members will be announced in April and will join the PD Team in May for the annual planning retreat.
