Core Competencies

The core competencies for the Division of Student Affairs and Department of Academic Support at the University of South Carolina were created by the Division's Professional Development Team in 2003.

These competencies are designed to guide Division staff in identifying areas in which they seek to improve as they work on their annual Individual Development Plans (IDP).

Feedback from the Individual Development Plans (IDP) is then used to guide the Professional Development Team in planning year-round professional development opportunities.
