CAPSTONE ABROAD PROGRAM APPLICATION MATERIALS

Capstone Scholars who wish to apply for a Capstone Abroad Program must submit their application materials directly to the Study Abroad Office.  Students are admitted to the programs based on the overall strength of their applications, including their responses to the application essays, faculty recommendation, and fall semester GPA.  Spaces are limited for each of the programs. 

 

Following is a checklist to help you maneuver through the application process. Please click on the links below to access the forms required for the Capstone Abroad Program Application. All forms must be typed, then printed, and submitted to the Study Abroad Office before noon on
December 5, 2008
for the Maymester program.

Applications Essays
 
Recommendation Letter #1
Student Enrollment Form (available in the Study Abroad Office)
Non-refundable deposit payable to: University of South Carolina*
    Memo: Capstone Program
    Amount: $350
Signed Deposit and Withdrawal Information Form (available in the Study Abroad Office)

 

Once You have been Accepted/Complete a
Medical Self Assessment Form

Financial Aid for Study Abroad Pre-Screen Form (T2 ) (submit to Financial Aid Office)
Copy of ISIC card with photo (required for emergency medical coverage)

Copy of identification page of passport, signed

*Only applicants who applied for a Passport Travel Grant but did not receive a grant may cancel and get back their deposit, provided that they notify the study abroad office in writing prior to January 16, 2009.

Should an applicant not be admitted to the program the entire deposit will be refunded to them.
