USC SPONSORED SUMMER PROGRAM APPLICATION INFORMATION
 

USC sponsors two types of summer programs: Departmental Programs and Affiliate Programs. USC Departmental Programs are Maymester or summer programs led by USC faculty. USC Affiliate Programs are summer programs administered by other institutions affiliated with USC.  Each type of program has a slightly different application process. Please be sure to follow the checklist specific to your program.

 

DEPARTMENTAL PROGRAMS

 

If you are planning to study abroad on one of the USC Departmental Programs, please contact the program’s faculty leader for details about the application process.  In addition to the application materials required by the faculty leader, students must submit the documents listed below to the Study Abroad Office.  Please click on the links below to access the required forms.  All forms for General Faculty-led Programs and Honors College Programs must be typed, then printed, and submitted to the Study Abroad Office before February 1, 2008.  All forms for Languages, Literatures and Cultures Department Programs must be typed, then printed, and submitted to the Study Abroad Office before March 1, 2008. An administrative fee will be applied to all late applications. Where links aren’t available, please stop by the study abroad office to obtain the required forms.

Medical Self Assessment Form

Financial Aid for Study Abroad Pre-Screen Form (T2 ) (submit to Financial Aid Office)

Copy of International Student Identity Card (required for emergency medical coverage)


 

If receiving Transfer credit must also complete the following:

Study Abroad Approval Form (select programs, check with Study Abroad Advisor)

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS


Students applying to study abroad on one of the following Affiliate Programs must submit the documents listed below to the Study Abroad Office

 

  • Australia - Murdoch University
  • Denmark - Denmark’s International Study Program
  • Italy - Consortium International University
  • Mexico - Monterrey Tech, Campus Guadalajara
  • South Korea – Sookmyung Women’s University
  • Sweden - Jönköping International Business School
  • Taiwan - Ming Chuan University

Administrative Fee

Study Abroad Applications received after 5:00pm on the day they are due must be accompanied by a $30 Administrative Fee, by check only, made payable to USC.
