Mission Statement
The Student Assistance Program serves as a liaison between
students, staff and university services to encourage, enlighten,
and promote academic and professional success for all University
of South Carolina students.
Who is it for?
Transfer students, students who live off campus, non-traditional
students, graduate students, and all other university students.
It serves as a liaison between faculty and students when faculty
members have student concerns and do not know where to turn or
what resources may be available for assistance.
Why use the Student Assistance Program?
To help gain skills necessary for academic and professional
success. To learn to utilize resources that are available to USC
students through one-on-one communication to determine student
needs and resources that may be available for assistance.
How can it benefit students?
The Student Assistance Program can help you gain the skills you
need to be successful both in your academic and professional
endeavors. The program is designed to help you achieve your
goals.
How can it benefit faculty?
The Student Assistance Program is designed as a referral service
for faculty members who have student concerns which may not be
addressed through other campus services.
