S.T.I.R. – Students Taking Initiative & Responsibility
Mission
The mission of STIR is to help students identify high-risk behavior, reflect on their decision making skills, and take action towards making safer choices and reducing future negative consequences.
What is S.T.I.R.?
STIR is a two-session individualized meeting with SAPE Graduate Students, designed to assist student in recognizing their high-risk behavior, reflect on their ability to make responsible decisions and to support students in making safer choices so that they may become an integral member of the Carolina community. Students are sanctioned to the STIR program by their conduct administrators for an alcohol/drug violation. Currently this is the only way students will have the opportunity to participate in the STIR program.
If you are a student that has been santioned to the STIR program and need to complete e-CHUG or e-TOKE, please click on either e-CHUG (Alcohol) or e-TOKE (Marijuana).
