All freshman
and transfer students are provided an orientation through the
Student Orientation Program. Orientation is a coordinated effort
aimed at providing an introduction to Carolina and its academic
and social components. During Orientation, students take
placement tests, meet with academic advisors, and register for
classes. We work closely with the Orientation staff to assist in
making arrangements for students with disability related
concerns. A schedule of orientation program dates will be sent
to you by mail at which time you should register for a specific
session and call us if special arrangements need to be made. For
further information, contact the
Orientation Program Office at
(803) 777-2780.
