How to Access Counseling Services

First Appointment

Call 803.777.5223 and schedule a phone screening. The phone screening takes about 15 minutes and is usually scheduled for the same day you call or the following morning. At the end of the phone screening, you will be scheduled to see a counselor who best matches your service needs.

Appointment Hours – for Any Counseling Needs

8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday, with final appointment of the day scheduled at 4:30

Walk-in Hours – 2 to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday are set aside for emergent and urgent care. However, assessment is available for those needs during all regular office hours.

Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis or based on the level of the emergency.

If you have an urgent need to speak with a behavioral health professional, or are in need of weekend assessment, call 911 or the Richland Springs Hospital help line at (803) 434-4813. If you are unable to call, go to the nearest emergency room.
