Wellness Promotion collaborates with Palmetto Richland
Hospital to offer an effective smoking cessation program
for employees who want to quit smoking. Classes are FREE
and available on-campus, as well as at Palmetto Richland
Hospital. Participants attend six classes for an hour
and a half twice a week over a three-week period. The
program was developed by a behavioral psychologist and
boasts an 80% success rate. To register for any of the
classes offered, call 296-CARE. If you want to attend
one of the classes held on-campus then let the
receptionist know when you call to register.
In addition, state employees are also covered to receive
treatment offered through Free & Clear’s Quit for Life
