Medical Excuse Policy

Student Health Services has no authority to excuse students from classes or from meeting other academic requirements.

Absences or non-completion of academic work due to health reasons are subject to the University’s academic and attendance policies.

Students are responsible for scheduling routine health visits so as to have a minimum detrimental impact on academic requirements.

When requested by the patient, a visit verification slip indicating the date and time the patient presented for healthcare will be issued to the patient.
