Gamma Hydroxy Valerate (GHV)

The New Drug Used to Commit Rape
According to the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), an analog of Gamma Hydroxy Butyrate (GHB), Gamma Hydroxy Valerate (GHV), may be the newest drug used by sex offenders in order to render their victims unconscious. GHV, also known as “Tranquilly G,” costs about $60 a bottle. Its effects are very similar to that of GHB, however it is more sedating and remains in your system longer than GHB’s 6-12 hour time-frame. It is reported that several analogs of GHB have been created in order to confuse the identification of the drug.
