- Separates perception from sensation (dreamy
feeling)

- Nausea, increased heart rate (low doses),
depresses consciousness and breathing (high doses)
- Hallucinations can occur and last 1 hour or less
(known as the "K-Hole"). Very difficult to move
during the "K-Hole" period. Overall, hallucinogenic
effects can last for several days.
- Effects begin within 10-20 minutes
- Can be lethal when combined with alcohol
