Over-the-Counter Medications

• Used for allergies/sinus and respiratory congestion/discomfort
• Causes drowsiness in low doses
• Pills can be ground up, or can be purchased in powder-filled capsules
• Effects can include drowsiness, clumsiness or unsteadiness, convulsions, shortness of breath, tiredness, weakness, & tachycardia
• The effects can be made much worse, even lethal, when combined with alcohol.
