Sexual Health

Sexual Health & Violence Prevention and Research offers a resource center for students to acquire information about sexuality and STIs, sexual assault & date rape drugs for papers, class presentations, or personal inquiry. Videos, books, and other resources on topics such as sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, contraception, etc. are available to view and check out of the resource center located in our office.  Click here for a virtual brochure on Sex & the College Student.

The office provides free condoms, which are available in jars in the lower level of the Thomson Student Health Center. Students are welcome to stop by and take condoms from the jar for free any time during regular business hours. We ask that you please be respectful and only take one or two condoms at a time so that we can continue to provide this service for all our students.

If you are a University of South Carolina student, faculty, or staff hosting a campus-sponsored program in your residence hall or student organization and you need condoms in bulk quantities, please contact a staff person who will assist you.
