Sexually Transmitted Infections are also commonly known as Sexually Transmitted Diseases. The terms are often used interchangeably, but not all "infections" are really "diseases." If you think you might have an STI, it's important to get checked out. Men should call (803) 777-3175 to make an appointment at the Thomson Student Health Center's General Medicine Clinic, while women should call (803) 777-6816 for an appointment at the TSHC's Women's Care Clinic.
