To schedule one of these workshops for your residence
hall, organization, or class, please call 777-8248 for
more information!
Let’s Talk About Sex:
Using Sexual Jeopardy as an icebreaker, this
comprehensive, yet basic workshop challenges
participants to re-think the idea that talking about sex
is unsexy. Students are guided through activities
focusing on sexual decision-making, safer sex, sexually
transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS, and risk
reduction. This program is excellent for first-year
through senior class participants as either an
introduction to the topic or a “refresher course.”
Talk Dirty To Me:
A favorite among residence halls and student
organizations! Participants ask the other sex those
burning questions they always wanted answered. Get the
REAL scoop on men and women at USC while exploring
creative, romantic, passionate, and safer ideas for
lovemaking without intercourse. This is the kind of “sex
talk” they don’t want to miss.
The Gender Trap:
Ever felt like you were trapped in a viscous cycle of
not understanding the opposite sex? Whenever you try to
communicate your signals just seem to get crossed. If
so, this program promises to help clear up some of the
confusion. Through an interactive exercise, learn more
about how the opposite sex thinks and makes decisions.
Immaculate Contraception:
Women and men witness each other miraculously becoming
eight months pregnant, right before their eyes using the
“Empathy Belly!” Shedding light on unintended pregnancy,
this program uses show-and-tell models to de-mystify
birth control and empower participants to protect
themselves from premature parenthood.
Building Relationships that Last (for men and women):
This program provides the opportunity to explore
personal issues of self-esteem and assertiveness through
skill building exercises. These skills can help foster
healthy meaningful relationships and enhance
communication with your partner, family and friends. An
excellent program for personal growth and development.
Sex In The CD:
Using a variety of entertaining and interactive computer
games, this program is designed for friendly
competition. Whether it’s a challenge within your hall
or between different halls, teams compete to see who has
the most knowledge about sexual health and relationship
issues.
