The Homecoming Cup Challenge is for all recognized student organizations and Residence Halls to show off their Carolina spirit in friendly competitions during the week of Homecoming (November 6-12, 2011). Homecoming participation gives organizations a common goal, builds team unity, promotes school spirit and pride, and reminds our opponents that the University of South Carolina is a great school. The goal of the Homecoming Commission is to have every club, organization, Residence Hall, Fraternity, and Sorority involved during the week. Homecoming Week is also for the entire student body to attend events, support friends, or to have a good time celebrating Carolina.
In the upcoming months organizations will be able to view the rules and regulations packet, grievance form, points break down and much more.
Grievance Form
If you believe that an organization, or organization pair, has violated the rules set forth by the Homecoming Commission and those in the Homecoming Information Book found on this website you may file a grievance. In order to file a grievance you must fill out the below form and turn it into Russell House (Campus Life Center) 227 WITHIN 24 HOURS ofthe end of the event in which the rule violation allegedly occurred. Rule violations, unless seen by Homecoming Commission members, will not be addressed unless a grievance is filled against the organization within the appropriate time frame. Once the form has been submitted the Homecoming Commission will determine what to do with the grievance form from that point forward. Any questions regarding this can be directed to the Director of Rules and Regulations, Eric Cash at ericmcash@gmail.com. Please click below to download a copy of the Grievance Form:
