Major Check Sheets

For general information go to the College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate information page

The College of Arts and Sciences encompasses a large number of majors on campus. On this website you will find a list of “Major Check Sheets” for every major in the college.

What is a Major Check Sheet?

It’s a list of all the requirements that you will need to take for your major in an easy to read format. No worries about doubling up on requirements because you can fill in where your classes belong and once you fill the section, you know that you’ve finished that requirement. There are two main Curricula in the College of Arts and Sciences that dictate what your core requirements are going to be. If you are in the liberal arts you will follow the Curricula 1 Core Requirements. If you are a math or science major you will follow the Curricula 2 Core Requirements

To use the Major Check Sheet, print off a copy so that you can mark it off. Look at the classes listed on the check sheet and match them to the classes you have already taken or are currently enrolled in. For those classes that match up, list the specific class (if not already) and the grade earned. Those left unmarked are the ones you have left to take. Note: If there is a grade requirement (ex: C or better in a class), make sure that you get the required grade before checking it off.
