To make an appointment with the Financial Literacy Program, please follow the directions below.

1) Read through and select the type of appointment that you think will be the most beneficial.
2) Access our appointment system, AdvisorTrac, by using your email alias and the last four digits of your student number.
3) Be sure to let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason!

Make an Appointment

Money Management
If you have basic money management questions about budgeting, understanding banking, or questions about general personal finance tips, select a “Money Management” appointment.  Some questions you might have include:

  • I want to gain a basic understanding of financial vocabulary.
  • How do I create a budget?
  • How do I know what type of bank account to open?
  • What do I do if I’m a victim of identity theft?

Building/Managing Credit
If you have questions about building or managing consumer credit, then select the “Building/Managing Credit” appointment.  Some questions you might have include:

  • How do I pick the best credit card for me?
  • How do I check my credit score?
  • What do the credit score numbers mean?
  • How can I improve/build my credit score?

Debt Management
If you have questions about debt and how to manage or pay off debt, then select the “Debt Management” appointment.  Some questions you might have include:

  • How do I manage the current debts that I have?
  • What percent should I be paying towards my debt and what percent should I be saving?
  • I want to understand my debt and how to pay it back. What’s a reasonable rate?

Financial Literacy- Other
If you aren't sure which appointment category is the best fit, or if you have questions that are not represented above, please select a "Financial Literacy-Other" appointment.
