  • The First Year Call Center has made over 10,000 phone calls since its creation in Fall 2006. We are here, not only to make sure the students' questions are answered, but also, to provide an additional voice on campus. Our callers ask questions about academic satisfaction, expectations, and student involvement to let the University of South Carolina know what's working and how to improve. Below is a brief example of information provided each semester.



    • Students name and individual information is never reported; however the comments and suggestions are compiled and presented.
    • Campus partners are provided feedback for areas of improvement and excellence based on feedback.
    • Specific and individual answers are provided to each student called; however most frequently asked questions are presented to campus partners for marketing and information purposed.
