First Year Call Center
The First Year Call Center, established Fall 2006, creates a welcoming environment for first year students by informing them of important upcoming events, discussing satisfaction and challenges, as well as answering any questions or concerns students may have.
How we do this: FYCC employs undergraduate students to call all first year students twice a semester. First year students can use these calls as an opportunity to have their questions answered and their voices heard.
The Target Population: FYCC calls all students new to USC, Columbia. These students include freshmen, transfer students, regional campus change of campus students, and even students returning from semester long absences.
