Out of State Student Mentoring Program:   Out of State upperclassmen students volunteer to serve as Out of State student mentors. These students are here to share their experiences with you and help you through your transition to USC.

Out of State Student Mixers:    You've waited through four years of high school to get to college. You looked forward to getting out of the house and finally being on your own. Meeting new friends, living in a new place and learning new things sounded so exciting, until you got here. Like Dorothy, you found out quickly "there's no place like home." The purpose of the mixer is to give out of state students the opportunity to socialize and interact with other students who have experienced the same type of transition as they have.  Please log onto the student success center website for dates, information and locations.

Out of State Student Seminars:  Columbia, South Carolina is a great place to be not to mention being close to Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia! If you are from the northern, western or Midwestern states, the southern experience is one you are sure to enjoy. The great weather, great food and the southern hospitality makes you feel right at home. Come and find out more about South Carolina, the south and what the big deal is about Sweet Tea and Croagies!!!

Out of State Student Trips: The out of state student trips give you the opportunity to develop new relationship with other out-of-state students and explore the southeast. Trips to Charlotte,NC, Charleston, SC and Atlanta,GA are taken throughout the year to professional sporting games, site seeing, shopping and other interesting ventures. Information is advertised throughout the year for these trips. Be on the lookout!!
