Q: Who can get a student ticket?
Any USC Columbia student who is a full-time fee
paying student is eligible for athletic tickets. This includes
graduate students, professional students and undergraduates. Paying
the fees does not guarantee a ticket.
Q: How do I get a student ticket?
Students have access to the student ticket allotment by
registering on the TicketReturn site for the University of South
Carolina, www.ticketreturn.com/sc. First time users
will need to log on using their network username and password
"guest". Please change to a unique password once you have entered
the system.
Q: What do I need to enter Williams-Brice Stadium
and the Colonial Life Arena?
Students will need their valid Carolina Card and valid student
ticket to enter the game. A visual check of the Carolina Card will
be done to ensure the name on both the student ticket and the
Carolina Card. Tickets will then be scanned. Students must have both
of these items to be admitted to the game and no other form of photo
ID will be accepted.
Q: Which do I enter Williams- Brice Stadium and the
Colonial Life Arena?
Students are to enter through Gates 11, 12, 13 at Williams-Brice
Stadium at the College Street entrance of the Colonial Life Arena.
Q: What time should I go into the game?
The gates of Williams-Brice open two and a half hours prior to
kickoff. Students are encouraged to enter the game early so that
everyone has a seat by kickoff. The doors to the Colonial Life Arenaopen an hour and a half prior to the game. The good seats go first
in both arenas so make sure you go in a soon as you can.
Q: Will I still be able to sit with my friends?
All student seating at Williams-Brice stadium are reserved
seating. Student seating at the Colonial Life Arenais general admission
seating. This enables students to sit with friends and select their
preferred seat locations.
Q: Can I purchase guest tickets?
Because of the high demand of tickets for USC students, we do
not offer guest tickets.
Q: How can I get tickets to away games?
Away game tickets are sold at the Colonial Life Arenaticket office.
Q: What Loyalty Points are given to students at the
start of the season?
Freshman – 3
Sophomore – 4
Junior – 6
Senior – 8
Graduate – 6
Q: How are additional Loyalty Points earned?
Students earn 2 points for attending all non-SEC games (whether
men’s basketball, women’s basketball or football).
Students earn 1 point for attending each SEC game.
Q: Will I receive Loyalty Points if I use a
non-student ticket?
No, in order for students to receive Loyalty Points they must
use a student ticket accessed through the student ticket system.
Q: When are Loyalty Points used to distribute
student tickets?
Loyalty points are factored into the loyalty-based distribution
process for receiving football tickets when student ticket requests
exceed allotment. When the requests are less than the number of
tickets available, tickets are distributed on a first come first
serve basis.
Q: Do I get Loyalty Points for attending games as an
official student member of the football/ men’s basketball team,
band, or cheerleading squad?
Yes, students who attend games as official members of the USC
Marching Band, Varsity Athlete, etc., will be granted Loyalty Points
for the games they attend as members of their respective group.
These students should have their advisor contact the USC Ticket
Office to alert them of their status in order to activate their
Loyalty Points. These students will not participate in the student
ticket distribution.
Q: Why can’t all students who want to attend games
be allowed into the stadium?
Due to safety issues related to overcrowding, the number of
tickets issued must be limited to the number of seats available.
Q: How do Loyalty Points work in distributing
students tickets for games when students register for more tickets
than available?
If requests for tickets exceed the allotment, the system will
distribute tickets based on a loyalty-based point distribution. The
more loyalty points a student has, the more times they will be
entered into the distribution for that particular game.
Q: Why are students with high numbers of Loyalty
Points not guaranteed ticket?
No student is guaranteed a ticket to a game because all
full-time, eligible, fee-paying students should have an opportunity
to obtain a ticket to every game.
Q: How do I cancel a ticket without being penalized?
Students can cancel tickets through the TicketReturn system, but
must do so not later than 12:00 noon the day before the game to
avoid losing Loyalty Points.
Q: How do I receive points if I am studying abroad?
Students studying abroad will still receive seniority priority
points based on their class ranking at the University of South
Carolina. Students abroad will not be attending football games or
men’s and women’s basketball games while they are away. They will
not receive points for games they did not attend.
Q: Do loyalty points carry over from year to year?
Yes, 10% of the point total is rolled over at the end of each
academic year.
Q: Do I lose Loyalty Points if I don’t cancel a
claimed ticket and don’t attend the game?
Yes, students will lose the number of points you would have
earned for attending the game. However, if you cancel your ticket by
12:00 noon the day before the game, you will lose no points. If you
cancel between the noon cutoff and the game you will only lose have
of your potentially earned points. Two (2) points are available for
non-SEC games and one (1) point for SEC games.
Q: What if my ticket gets damaged before entering
the game? Will I still be able to get in?
Yes you can reprint your ticket by going to Ticketreturn.com
before the game. There are two barcodes on each ticket in case one
is damaged. If your ticket gets damaged but you are unable to access
a computer to reprint a ticket, you can visit the Student Ticket
Services tent outside of Gate 12 at Williams Brice Stadium and the
USC ticket office at the Colonial Life Arena.
Q: How many times can I print out my ticket?
Students can print out their ticket an unlimited number of
times; however, only the first ticket scanned at the stadium will be
accepted and all other copies of the ticket will then be rejected.
Q: How can I see how many Loyalty Points I have
accumulated?
A student may see their earned Loyalty Points total by logging
into their account and selecting "attendance history". Students have
five (5) working days after attending each home game to verify they
received the appropriate number of Loyalty Points for attendance.
Appeals should be sent to the Office of the Associate Vice President
of Student Affairs within the five day limit. After five days, the
number of Loyalty Points becomes permanent in their record. The
Student Ticket Advisory Committee will handle the appeal process.
Q: How are students with disabilities accommodated
at Williams Brice Stadium?
Students with disabilities can enter Williams Brice Stadium
through Gate 17. There is reserved seating at the bottom of sections
24 and 25. This seating is first come first serve. Williams Brice is
designed with accessible parking, restrooms, concessions, water
fountains, ATM's, and seating areas in accordance with the ADA.
