The mission of Women's Student Services is to build alliances with campus and community groups in order to educate, empower, and mentor women students at the University of South Carolina. USC believes in providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of gender.

Hannah House Holiday Donations
November 19 - December 4, 2009

You are invited in help make a difference in the life of a child / woman in need. Women's Student Services in the Department of Student Life has a holiday tree in the Campus Life Center (Russell House, Suite 227) that displays ornaments with an item from the wish list of residents at Hannah House, a homeless shelter here in Columbia. These items benefit the women and children who will be staying at the Hannah House during the holidays. A party is held for the children and Santa distributes some gifts and others are put under a tree for the children to open later. Each child wraps a gift for their mother and the mother does the same for the child, providing an opportunity for gift exchange.
