“All of our state and national universities provide a good education. However, few are the universities that accept a role in leading their state to higher levels of economic performance and social well being and who can actually deliver on that promise,” Pastides said. 

8/13/11- More than 240 faculty, staff and student volunteers helped students and families move into their new homes in the university’s 24 residence halls and 20 homes in the Greek Village.

8/16/11- “All the folks are hiring today,” said Thomas Halasz, director of USC’s Career Center. “The employers were pleased with the turnout.”
