Tobacco Free USC

For the health and well-being of all Gamecocks, USC Columbia campus is a completely tobacco free campus. All forms of tobacco use are prohibited on all USC leased, owned and controlled property and in vehicles parked on USC property.

Tobacco Free USC Town Forum February 18, 2013
University of South Carolina students, faculty and staff are invited to an upcoming town-hall forum to learn more, share suggestions and ask questions about a potential expansion of the university’s tobacco-free policy. Student Government and Healthy Carolina will host the meeting, set for 5 – 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 in the Russell House ballroom.

University of South Carolina considering completely tobacco-free campus
The University of South Carolina has assembled a task force to study the university’s tobacco-free policy and determine whether it should be revised to cover the entire campus. The group, composed of students, faculty and staff, will examine the effects of becoming a completely tobacco-free campus, consider proposals for implementation and enforcement and ensure that ample tobacco-cessation resources are available.
