Women’s Mentor Network
If you are successful, it is because somewhere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction. Remember also that you are indebted to life until you help some less fortunate person, just as you were helped.” -Melinda Gates
The mission of the Women’s Mentor Network is to build alliances with campus and community groups in order to educate, empower, and mentor women students at the University of South Carolina. USC believes in providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of gender. The Women’s Mentor Network pairs faculty and staff with undergraduate women to create a community of support and engagement while fostering both personal and professional growth.
Over the course of the academic year, the WMN plans events and workshops for mentors and mentees to build a network and grow professionally and personally.
Are you interested in joining a cohort of female leaders here at Carolina in developing a community of support and education. Please consider applying for the Women’s Mentor Network. By acting as a mentor or mentee you’d have the opportunity to foster a relationship of personal and professional support, while becoming more involved in the UofSC community.
Please reach out to the Leadership and Service Center if you have any questions.
