Queer Connections First Year Experience

Adapting to campus life is an adjustment for all students. The connections we foster with this program are specialized to sustain our LGBTQ+ students throughout their first year at the university.

What is Queer Connections?

Queer Connections (QC) is a support initiative for incoming LGBTQ+ students to connect with support and resources in their first year. Programming geared towards LGBTQ+ students will be hosted for the first six weeks of the fall semester with the goal of acclimating LGBTQ+ students to the USC community. 

What is Queer?

We use "queer" as an umbrella term for people who don't identify with normative notions of gender or sexual orientation. It includes people of all marginalized gender identities and sexual orientations.
