FINAL EXAM REMINDERS
Students: The deadline to submit your alternative testing requests for final exams
was April 10th.
Any request submitted after April 10th may require alternative testing arrangements.
Check in reminders:
Arrive 10 minutes early for your exam.
Check in for your exam will be on the FIRST FLOOR in the MAIN OFFICE at Close-Hipp Suite 102 . Do not go up to the normal testing space!
Bring your Carolina Card or Driver's License and have it ready for check in. You will have this out and visible on your desk while you are taking your final exams.
Bring any other materials needed for your exam (i.e., pens, pencils, periodic tables,
calculators, model kits, approved information sheets, etc.)
If your final exam is online, bring your own computer and charger. The SDRC does not
have the capacity to provide extra of these items.
If your final exam is scheduled as "remote- proctoring is not required," you will not come to the SDRC for testing.
Exam reminders:
Make sure your exams are scheduled as "FINAL." Ff this is not an option, please get
in contact with your professor ASAP; they will need to update their Alternative Testing
Agreement to include the allotted time for finals.
Please note that you are officially scheduled if you have received a confirmation email from our office. If you have not received a confirmation email then you have not been approved to take
the final with SDRC Test Proctoring Services. Please call if you have any questions.
If you are using a laptop, please remember to bring your charging cord.
The SDRC accommodates students with allergies and sensitivities. We ask that you be
mindful of these students and do not bring snacks containing nuts or wear strong scents.
Due to the high volume of exams, the SDRC uses multiple rooms in the Close-Hipp Building,
meaning there is a chance you will not be in our normal testing space. The office
has ensured that each room is a limited distraction space.
Please be patient with our staff and volunteers!
Honor Code:
Taking your exam with the SDRC signifies your willingness to uphold the Universities
Honor Code and accept the responsibilities below:
Faculty members and volunteers are required to report potential violations to the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity.
If a student is uncertain as to what could be considered as a violation, it is their
responsibility to seek clarification.
