Senate President Pro Tempore, Joseph Bass, sworn in as student body vice president

On February 7, 2018, Dani Goodreau submitted a letter of resignation to Student Body President Ross Lordo. President Pro Tempore of the Student Senate, Joseph Bass, was immediately sworn in as Student Body Vice President.

Vice President Bass assumes the office with two years of senatorial experience and a passion for serving the student body. He is a third-year mechanical engineering student from Tega Cay, South Carolina.

President Lordo, commenting on the transition said, “We thank Dani for her service to the student body and wish her well in all of her future endeavors. Treasurer Francis and I am excited to welcome Vice President Bass to Executive Office. We have the utmost confidence that he will be a staunch advocate for students and will successfully fulfill the duties of the office for the remainder of the term.”

Former Vice President Dani Goodreau resigned to pursue professional opportunities. A statement from her is forthcoming.
