Student Government Scholarships

Student Government recognizes student leaders at the University of South Carolina by awarding three $500 scholarships annually at Awards Day.

These scholarships are awarded based on scholarship, leadership and service. Each applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in good standing with the University. If you are interested in applying for one of these awards, complete the forms below. Applicants are also required to fill out FERPA compliance forms.

Once you submit your scholarship application you will be prompted to fill out a FERPA form.

Please print and fill out the FERPA form and turn the completed form into the Office of Student Government (suite 227) in the Russell House University Union. The FERPA form must be turned in to be considered for a scholarship. Thank you!

Applications

The Freshman Council Marie-Louise Ramsdale Scholarship is awarded to a freshman who has benefited the Student Body through a leadership position at USC.

The Student Body President’s Scholarship is awarded to a student who has benefited the Student Body through a leadership position at USC.

The Brian Comer Student Government Scholarship is awarded to a senior planning to attend graduate/professional school at USC who has made a significant contribution to the Student Body while at USC.
