As the Substance Abuse Prevention and Education Graduate Assistant, Darby Enright meets with students sanctioned for drug/alcohol violations and provides intervention services as a STIR Coach. She documents student cases, develops training materials and responds to calls and emails on behalf of the office. Darby has worked as a social work intern in the SAPE office since her junior year and also interned at the Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc.
Darby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in May 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Standing MSW Program seeking a Master of Social Work Degree. Honors include the Stand Up Carolina HERO Award and President and Dean’s List Scholar.
During her undergraduate time at USC, Darby served on the Family Relations Committee as an Executive Board Member for USC Dance Marathon. Her passion is for children suffering from terminal illnesses, and she enjoys helping others in any capacity and working towards social justice.
