About Us
The University of South Carolina (USC) is proud of its diverse population and supports cultural diversity in every way possible.
USC’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Programs and Services utilizes outreach, education, advocacy, and collaborative relationships to foster a fair, safe, and inclusive climate in which all Carolinians, regardless of sexual identity or gender identity, are treated with dignity and respect.
The program is building a campus-wide network of students, faculty, staff, residence halls, student organizations, and academic departments that provide an open door, as well as information and resources for LGBT and ally individuals.
