Apply for a Student Government Scholarship

Three Student Government-sponsored scholarships are available to the student body. Recipients will receive $500 scholarship at the annual Award’s Day ceremony. Deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 15 at 4 p.m.

Scholarships available:

Freshman Council Marie-Louise Ramsdale Scholarship
Awarded to a first-year student who has made a significant contribution to the Student Body through a leadership position at USC.

Brian Comer Student Government Scholarship
Awarded to a senior planning to attend graduate school at the University of South Carolina who has greatly benefited the student body through a leadership position.

Student Body President’s Scholarship
Awarded to a USC student for outstanding service to the student body through a campus leadership position. All applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in good standing with the University. Applicants do not have to be active in Student Government to apply. Selection will be based on scholarship, leadership and service.

Student Body Elections 2012: Gamecock the Vote

Student Body Elections are Tuesday, Feb. 14 and Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Don’t forget to log onto VIP to vote for President, Vice President, and Treasurer, along with the senators for your college.

Your friends at Student Government are proud to bring back Carolina Cab – a free safe ride program for all USC students with a valid Carolina Card.

-Cabs will pick up at the Fountain in 5 Points from 10 p.m. to 3a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
-Riders will need to show their Carolina Card.

-Current students with friends who are not USC students will be required to pay.
-The service is free up to 5 miles from the Fountain to any residence.
-Cabs WILL NOT RUN during home games or during breaks.
